Adarsh Arora, President  &
Chief Executive Officer:

Adarsh is active in the venture capital community, and he is a partner in the Idealflow Angel Fund (www.idealflowfund.com), where he reviews, advises and invests in software and internet-based start-up companies. The fund is founded and directed only by entrepreneurs who have been highly successful in the high-tech arena. It is distinguished from traditional venture capital firms because all of its partners have significant and direct operational experience in starting companies and building their businesses to the point that they can either be sold successfully or are ready to be brought public.

As a result, Idealflow has a strong desire to nurture high-growth businesses that are developing innovative products and services in the information and electronic technology areas.

Prior to LisleTech, Adarsh was a founder, Vice-President of Research and Development of Peritus Software Services, and the Managing Director of Peritus (India). In 1997, Peritus went public and created a $500 million market capitalization. Peritus specialized in mass-change technology applications such as Y2K and Euro Conversions, and analysis of programs using mathematical approaches. In this capacity, Adarsh lead a team of over 100 software professionals distributed over multiple continents, and this experience provided Adarsh with practical insights into building effective teams separated by locations, time differences and cultures.

Adarsh founded his first company, Vista Technologies, in 1986. Vista developed high-end CASE and CAE products, and distributed them through companies such as Cadence Design Systems and Mentor Graphics in US, Marubeni HyTech in Japan, and Leda in Europe. Over 5,000 copies of Vista products were installed worldwide and its customers included Intel, Ford Microelectronics, Northern Telecom, Bay Networks and other leading edge-electronics firms. In 1988 Adarsh was recognized by US Senators Paul Simon and Alan Dixon for his innovative work in software systems.

Before launching his entrepreneurial career, Adarsh was a Program Director at the Gould Research Center, where he lead multiple teams researching and prototyping ideas in the Visual Programming area. Adarsh was instrumental in winning several million dollars from the Department of Defense for these projects, and the resulting research was directly responsible for the formation and success of Vista Technologies. Prior to Gould, Adarsh was a Professor at the computer science department of the Illinois Institute of Technology where he guided many students on their M.S. and Ph.D. theses in topics related to Database Management Systems. Adarsh started his career in Bell Labs where his contributions were focused on designing database schemas to support the development of the first local electronic digital switch introduced by AT&T. Adarsh is a Charter Member of TiE Midwest - TiE was founded in the Silicon Valley and it is a national organization established to guide and mentor entrepreneurs.

Successful executives of various high-tech companies interested in supporting and mentoring other entrepreneurs are invited to join as the Charter Members.  Adarsh went to Northwestern University for his Ph.D. in computer science.
